I improved my knee pain and posture working with thephysiopro
Matt treating a patients' knee
I was struggling with pain in my left knee and was concerned with how I would manage the pain. During Covid, I received physio by email, which was not good enough.
I have taken Matt’s professional advice and completed some physio exercises which he explained and demonstrated himself and then I had a go. The hardest bit is to continue the exercises at home and find time to be consistent (it's easy to give up when no one is looking!)
Matt also recommended and prescribed some orthotic insoles to correct the alignment of my feet and posture. I have become more aware of the importance of exercising even if I am sitting at my computer, strengthening my muscles, and improving joint pain. The pain has not gone but has significantly improved with exercises and pain management (frozen peas) I am taking less Ibuprofen, which is a good thing!
Matt is confident, very experienced and knowledgeable in the service he offers. He referred me to my GP for follow-up appointments to see the consultant for my knee and foot.
My initial appointment was via the NHS but I was so pleased with Matt’s professional help that I went privately for further support and advice.
Since working with Matt, I’m more confident in managing pain in my knee and completing exercises set for me which have ultimately helped me to continue to go to my yoga class (which I love!) and can continue short walks with my grandson.
If you’re on the fence about contacting Matt, please don't leave a symptom if you are in pain, and receive professional support and advice. Matt talked in a friendly professional way that I could understand. I also felt reassured I wasn’t being silly when I asked questions.
I would seek further support and guidance from Matt and be happy to refer him to friends and family.
